I have been working and training dogs for 40 years. For the last 15 years we have been working, training, guiding and hunting with German Shorthairs. Our bloodlines consist of the some the best dogs in USA like Crosswinds Micro Chip, Crosswinds Truckin Fritz, Tonellis Rising Sun, Kimbers Tack, Udibars Shoot the moon, High Tailin Saddle, Rawhides Clown, and Dixelands Rusty to name a few. Our dogs are full of National Champions, NSTRA Champions, Field Champions and Hall of Fame dogs.
We don't breed very often but check the available page to see if we have anything available or check the breedings page to see our planned litters that have been well thought out in advance. We are 100% dedicated to the quality and advancement of the German Shorthair and our goal with the breeding we do is to produce mentally stable, sound working dogs.
Our primary focus is training not breeding. ProStart GunDogs is available for training. Please check the training page or contact us by phone or email. I take on a limited number of dogs per month to make sure your dog gets the time it deserves for its development. I have access to several large tracks of land that we either own or lease to train on. I have spent ten years raising game birds for training. We do not sell birds but try to keep plenty on hand to train your dogs. References available upon request.
